Terms & conditions

1.  General

These terms and conditions apply to all bookings, quotations, agreements and services related to room rental, catering, and additional facilities at Electricity Campus, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

The term “client” refers to the natural or legal person who places a booking or enters into an agreement with Electricity Campus.

2.  Booking and Confirmation

A booking is considered final after written or verbal confirmation by the client, followed by a confirmation from Electricity Campus. Quotations are valid for 14 days, unless stated otherwise.

Changes to the booking are only valid after written confirmation from Electricity Campus.

3.  Payment

Payment must be made within 14 days of the invoice date. If payment is not received on time, the client is in default by operation of law. Electricity Campus is then entitled to charge statutory interest and reasonable collection costs.

For large events, a deposit or (partial) prepayment may be required.

4.  Cancellation and Changes

Cancellations must be submitted in writing. The following cancellation fees apply:

•  Up to 14 days before the event: no charge

•  Between 14 and 7 days before the event: 50% of the total invoice amount

•  Less than 7 days before the event: 100% of the total invoice amount

For large events (more than 50 people or involving extensive catering/technical support), different cancellation terms may apply. These will be agreed upon in writing.

The final number of attendees must be confirmed no later than 5 working days prior to the event date. Changes after that date may incur additional costs.

5.  Use of the Space

The client is responsible for the proper use of the rented space. The space may only be used for the purpose for which it was booked.

Any damage or extra cleaning required due to improper use will be charged to the client. Bringing your own equipment or catering is not allowed without prior consultation and written permission.

6.  External Suppliers and Catering

If external suppliers or caterers are used, this must be coordinated in advance with Electricity Campus. The client is responsible for coordination, compliance with safety regulations, and removal of all materials and waste.

7.  Liability

Electricity Campus is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to the property of the client or their guests.

The client is liable for any damage caused to buildings, inventory, or other property of Electricity Campus during or in connection with the use of the space. Additional insurance may be required for high-risk events.

8.  Force Majeure

In the event of force majeure (such as fire, flooding, pandemics, power outages, or other unforeseen circumstances), Electricity Campus reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the booking without the client being entitled to compensation.

Both parties will seek a reasonable alternative solution in such cases.

9.  Privacy

Personal data is used solelyfor administrative purposesand to fulfill the agreement. More information can be found in our privacy policy at www.electricitycampus.com.

10.     Applicable Law and Disputes
